About Me
Erin was born and raised in St.Albert, Alberta, Canada. She started performing in musicals at the age of 7 with the St.Albert Childrens' Theatre. During her 8 years with S.A.C.T. she performed in over 20 full scale productions as well as in numerous workshops and smaller performances in and around the community.
Erin's love of performance continued when she was accepted into Grant MacEwans' Theatre Arts Program. Over 2 years there Erin played such roles as Olga in The Three Sisters, and Dorothy Brock in 42nd Street. She graduated from MacEwan in 2005.
Feeling that her education was not yet complete, Erin auditioned for a place at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow. She was accepted into the Masters in Musical Theatre Performance program under the direction of Donna Soto-Morettini and received a scholarship to attend based on her audition. Whilst at the RSAMD Erin appeared as Kate Keller in All My Sons, Jennifer in Yeti: An Abominamusical (written for the course by Grant Olding and Toby Davies), and various characters in Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens, which received numerous 5 star reviews and was deemed, by The Stage Magazine, as one of the most memorable performances of 2006 in the UK. Erin also wrote and performed her own Cabaret "Real Live Woman" at The Arches, Glasgow.
In her final term at the RSAMD Erin was involved in Cameron McIntosh's Highland Quest For A New Musical. A documentary of the process was aired on BBC1 Scotland in November, 2007.
Erin graduated with a Masters Degree in Musical Theatre Performance in November, 2006. In the final London showcase The Stage Magazine named Erin as one of the top 3 standout performers. Erin went on to sign with Keddie Scott Associates. In 2009, Erin decided to make the move back to Canada where she signed with The Talent House.
Erin would like to thank her family, friends, mentors, and agents for all their never ending help and support.
